Because we are nothing if not the last ones to jump on a bandwagon.
road trip from Big Mama on Vimeo.
This was one of our road trip goals. Because we are all about being goal-oriented even in the summertime. Especially when it comes to trivial pursuits that don’t really amount to anything.
You might notice the camera work is a little shoddy. And that the horn also honks twice during the video. All I can say is it’s not easy to film a video from the driver’s seat. At least I wasn’t driving at the same time.
As for the rhythm? It’s a little questionable. And the lip-synching is reminiscent of a Godzilla movie with subtitles.
But we made a memory.

Awesome! love the dance moves! I do my best dancing while seated, BTW.
Another aside, I am truly the most out of touch person around — I’ve never heard this song before :-/
Ahhhh, I loved it!!! Honestly, I cannot get enough of this song or of all the homemade videos to it. My husband and his buddies went to St. Louis this weekend on their annual guy trip and did the exact same thing. Yup. Six grown men made a Call Me Maybe video. Here ya go.

I am dying! So, so funny!
Love that a bunch of men thought to do this.
Amy,
I loooved the video! How awesome! It looks like such a great group of guys. I also saw another video posted “3 Year Old w/a Cold Talks Jesus and Toys”. Oh my goodness. That is the sweetest video ever. What an amazing family you have!
This will be perfect at their wedding one day, lol or are they too much like siblings to ever marry? Soo precious, totally made me smile tonite!!
Fast forward 10 years.
You will have the last laugh.
Take it from someone who has been there. When the Significant Others start popping into the picture, those adorable baby pictures and home movies take on a whole new, amazing meaning for ya’.
he. he. he. he
bwahahahahahahahaha
My Monday morning just got a whole lot more smiley! Thanks!
Love it! My favorite times are still with a car full of silly kids, singing and dancing.
Love your summer trips!
I died….in a good way.
Love it!! Seriously awesome kids for going along with it!
That is going to be BIG blackmail material against the boys one day!!
Fabulous! So cute!
I’m totally HOOKED on this song and the videos! Last night, my 3 year old was singing it.
Is that bad??
That TOTALLY made my day, and it’s not even 9 am yet. So cute, and the horn honking just adds to the whole thing. Loved it!!!
My son showed me the Harvard baseball team performing this song in their van. His goal is to make it to college, play on their baseball team, and eventually take a road trip where he can be a member of the REAL team. I can’t wait to share this video with him. Thank you for sharing your life. It means so much to me personally. I wish you the best!
Hahahaha…love this! I notice that C lost interest in lip-synching early on. It’s all about the moves, huh?
Love it! Especially love that each of the three of them looked like a deer in the headlights right before it is their turn to lip synch. As for the wedding, I firmly believe that Will and Caroline are going to get married. I just hope you keep blogging long enough for us to see THAT video.
So darn cute!! Thanks for sharing it with all of us. Definitely made me smile this morning!!!
Love it! Love how Caroline was so serious about it at the beginning!
Maybe just made my whole day! My 6 and 3 year old daughters loved it too!!
Love it! I think we have all done this at some point over the summer. And summer would not be complete with out a little home made video.
Oh my gosh, what a way to start my Monday!!!! I am smiling so big – that was fantastic. The boys really have impressive rhythm and dance moves (Caroline too, but we already knew that!) – and I love how all three of them are so into it!! So awesome
Thanks for the smile!
That was totally entertaining. I never miss reading your blog, though have rarely posted comments (shamed face here). I couldn’t resist here, though. I literally did LOL at this. Tell those kids, “good job!”.
I have to agree with your previous commentors. What a GREAT way to start Monday!!! Awesome kiddos! What good sports they are! Happy week!
I have a sneaking suspicion that there was a Dance Mom in the passenger seat doing some singing and doing the motions as well…
Awesome!
Totally hilarious! Especially the facial expressions and the sneeze in the middle toward the end. hahaha! Thanks for sharing!
Nice! So fun!
Baaaa!!! ha!! ha!!!! This should totally go viral! Too cute!!
That gave me a much needed chuckle for the day – thank you!!
Were you rockin’ it, too, in the front seat ?;) Loved the horn honk … and your fun-lovin’ heart.
That was fabulous!! Loved the horn honking, the little guy’s sneeze, and the expression on C’s face towards the end. LOVE!
The first time I heard the horn honk, I about spit water across the room. HAHAHAHaha. They did great! Much better than I would have done. haha.
Gotta say.,,the older boy,,KILLED IT! Too too cute
I think Gulley’s boys enjoyed that a little too much. I was dying at them. Hilarious!
I laughed so hard!! Also the one boy with lighter hair was getting into it when they would look down. It was amazing
Hoping you all are home and safe. Just heard breaking news that there was a shooting in College Station…
oh, can we just take a minute of silence to honor the sexy faces?!
Caroline was SO SERIOUS!!
This is fabulous!
Adoable! Now was there a little dance instruction going on in the front seat?

You’re home now, right??? Please say yes, so I don’t have to worry and fret about you all night!
Love it! What a fun memory!
I love it! And they had their seatbelts on the whole time, too – it’s a fun video and a safety endorsement all wrapped up into one!
This song is currently playing on repeat in my basement. My husband has threatened numerous times to take the “coveted” Kids Bopz CD away.
Can’t blame him.
am I the only one who can’t view it?
Love this! The kids are too cute. But the seat belts crack me up!
Oh heaven help us. That was the perfect ending to my day. That video will cause so much embarrassment in the future!!! LOVED IT!
Seriously, how did you tape that without giggling??? Awesome.
This will TOTALLY come back to haunt them on their wedding days. And rightfully so. I had a similar experience watching my girl watching the Spice Girls reunion the other night – wish I’d videoed it!
I don’t know if it’s Jackson or Will, but the boy in the blue REALLY got into it! Love it!
My favorite part was that they all still had their seat belts on!
And the horn honking! Hilarious! I also thought someone (Gulley) was in the front seat being the dance instructor. Too bad we didn’t get to see that part!
