Love it!! =) Erin August 7, 2013 at 11:17 am I absolutely ADORE Jimmy Fallon! He’s hilaroius& the show really promotes new music. Not to mention that he regularly convinces celebrities to play crazy games with him and the audience. I tape the show every night and watch it later, so I don’t miss a thing 🙂 Sherry August 7, 2013 at 11:53 am I especially like the guy working the banana in the bottom right. 😉 Enjoy your time away. mcjaime August 7, 2013 at 12:01 pm How cute was THAT?! Kathryn August 7, 2013 at 1:04 pm LOVE IT!!!!! 🙂 I too thought the guy on the bottom right shaking the banana was hilarious!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!! Jeanne B August 7, 2013 at 2:55 pm If you liked this (what’s not to like??), check out his duet with Brad Paisley doing “Balls in Your Mouth.” Very funny. Was he shaking a banana, or the Bananagrams bag??? Darcy August 7, 2013 at 3:03 pm Adore this! Thanks for sharing and have a fabulous week off! Lisa August 7, 2013 at 8:07 pm I just LOVE it when he does these. Did you see the one he did with Carley Rae Jepson? Totally awesome!! Sheaffer August 7, 2013 at 8:14 pm I could watch that over. and over. and over. and over again. It makes me soooooo happy. Casey August 7, 2013 at 10:49 pm I saw this last week and laughed until I cried. I have watched it so many time since. The great thing is their individual facial expressions. LOVE IT Megan August 8, 2013 at 7:33 am I LOVE Jimmy Fallon!! That was great! I saw the Call Me Maybe one a while back too — they’re so creative! lh August 8, 2013 at 7:33 am Love that video! Don’t tell my husband but I have a super crush on Jimmy Fallon. (Time off enjoying summer or spending all your free time checking for Johnny Football updates? ) Nicole Glover August 8, 2013 at 7:54 am I ADORE this. Great way to start my day! Susan B August 8, 2013 at 8:31 am Didn’t get a chance to listen to this video yesterday, but got to listen to it this morning. I was thinking, “Wow this is a really a catchy song and they all looking like they’re having a lot of fun…but what are they singing about?” I looked up the lyrics and…oh my word! Is that what they’re really singing?… Deb Lewis August 8, 2013 at 9:55 am I agree, This is not a song that I would want to promote. The lyrics and the video are quite controversial. nancygirl August 8, 2013 at 10:22 am yeah, I googled the words and was stunned by what they were actually singing. Not the kind of stuff you want to recommending. Look them up. Megan August 9, 2013 at 7:46 am Who Googles lyrics to songs and then complains about the lyrics but tells people to look them up?!! I had to come back to show my husband b/c he loves this song too! Have a great weekend! Susan B August 9, 2013 at 8:06 am Really, a lot of people…because it’s wise to know what you’re listening to. If you don’t have a problem with lyrics – don’t look them up. If what you are listening to or what your kids are listening to matters, then it’s good to know… Liz August 8, 2013 at 11:00 pm I love it when he sings, but this is a raunchy song … kind of surprised you posted it. Anne Hooser August 8, 2013 at 9:32 am I absolutely love this and have you seen the one with Mariah Carey? The song is All I Want For Christmas….fun & precious! I want to send it out for Christmas this year!! Rebbie August 8, 2013 at 10:33 am Made my day! Jen August 8, 2013 at 10:39 am Yes!! My favorite collaborations are the ones he’s done with Justin Timberlake. Enjoy your week off. While you are taking a break, if you don’t already know, you should check out Francesca’s for some cute maroon options to gear up for the upcoming season. They had a lot of nice things that look like they may be up your alley. Suzanne August 8, 2013 at 11:53 am I absolutely love this JF Blurred Lines video, saw it the other day and loved it! Came to your blog from Pioneer Woman and saw that it made you happy also….I have just watched the Coffee with Comedians, host Jerry Seinfeld that was posted on PW and laughed and laughed made me very happy…thnx so much for sharing wonderful things. Sue Jones August 9, 2013 at 9:38 am Went to this EVERY DAY THIS WEEK……totally made me smile!!! Thank you!!!! Sarah T. August 9, 2013 at 11:12 pm I’m just sitting here so sad, because yes, I’m fully aware this is your blog and you have a right to post whatever you want, but the lyrics to this song are so raunchy. I never in a million years would think that you would post a song with these lyrics. I guess after reading your book and the type of person you say you are, never name the example you try to set for your daughter…just wow. Okay, I’ll move on now. Just a little (or a lot) more sad than I was before. But again, your right, as it is your blog. Perry August 10, 2013 at 8:09 am Those of you that have commented on how “raunchy” the lyrics are to THIS video clearly did not listen to the lyrics of THIS video. Are ya’ll picking up on the THIS part…I’m emphasizing it pretty strong. Maybe PG rated…probably G. P Susan B August 10, 2013 at 8:55 am P, I love Big Mama’s writing…I mean, I LOVE IT! Still do. She’s my favorite blog and I read it every time she posts. I couldn’t understand the lyrics to the video posted that’s why I looked them up. I never even heard the song until it was posted. If the words were different from what I looked up, I’m sure I would have liked it. I didn’t know. I didn’t mean to upset anybody and I know those words that I saw online didn’t match up with what we read from Big Mama. Dina August 10, 2013 at 12:58 pm Susan, I knew about the song because my niece, who is older, wanted to let me know because I have a 13 year old daughter. She was concerned she might see one of the video’s for the song because it has nudity in it. Otherwise I would probably be in the dark. 🙂 Jean Marie August 11, 2013 at 8:33 pm Seriously. I’m addicted to it. Stephanie Zapata August 12, 2013 at 7:32 am I ADORE this video. I was watching, smiling, watching, & then smiling the rest of the day. I think everyone needs to lighten up a bit. This is supposed to be funny. Maybe you have a problem with the “original” song (I personally don’t-but I’ve listened to “racy” music before) but she didn’t post that. She posted a silly version of a song that has been playing non-stop on the radio. I think this is brilliant. Thanks Mel for making me smile… Rachel Bray August 12, 2013 at 10:03 am I have always LOVED Robin Thick and was listening to him long before he was so popular. Jimmy Falon is totally on my crush list. Which my husband thinks is so weird. This was so much fun! Lisa August 12, 2013 at 12:38 pm I loved it, but I could have used a little more cowbell. I gotta have more cowbell!
