I don’t get it. Will you please explain why you think security is more important than liberty? As someone else once said: Give me liberty or give me death.

I have a 29 y.o. son who started shooting targets when he was 5. He was so proud just like Caroline. Looked like a miniature rambo all camo’d out when he went hunting with his daddy.

He’s now 6’3″, 265 lbs. and has a man room at his house. It’s full of all the antlers, signs, NRA magazines and guns that I finally got to clean out of my house!!! The conversation was,”Mom, why can’t you keep my stuff for me?” My reply,”I just love it, but wouldn’t want to deprive you of it at your house.”

Maybe you can send Caroline all of her “gun” stuff when she grows up and has her own home. I’m sure she will enjoy it.

I started reading your gun-lovin posts to my teenage son and he asked if he could write you a letter to see if you would adopt him. I ordered him a copy of “Cheaper than Dirt” instead. So I think you’re safe.
