She can bring home the bacon

September 23, 2008

Here’s Caroline as she prepared to go dove hunting with her daddy after school yesterday.

I guess she couldn’t find the baseball cap with the large bill.

Here’s a little video I took right before she walked out the door.

Going on a dove hunt from Big Mama on Vimeo.

I think she wonders on a daily basis why she has to deal with people who are so dense.

And here she is after a successful hunt.

It appears that dove attempted to trade liberty for security and found neither.

Since when did ‘Shoot’ turn into a two syllable word?

Oh I kid, love the accent!

What a well-rounded ballet dancing hunter girl.

Oh, a Caroline video! I love these – she is so funny! And I have already told you that two times!

3 Hollie September 23, 2008 at 5:50 am

“I’ve already told you 2 times” HA HA HA I wonder where she gets that spunk? I’m loving the pink boots and floraly type jeans. Just what every hunter needs in her wardrobe!

funny. Brings back great memories of my dad – bird & deer. Pheasants were my favorite – had the prettiest skins.

Great daughter/daddy time!

She is a delicate flower. ;-)

Oh bless her. A prima ballerina and a dove hunter. Her talents know no bounds.

Wait until she goes turkey hunting. I can SO recommend additional wardrobe accessories then!

Here in Minnesota doves are protected. You can’t shoot them. My grandson accidently shot one last summer and was scared he was gonna get caught. lol
Caroline is so well-rounded. A prima ballerina, a dove hunter, and a fashionista! She just cracks me up!
Love the cammo with the flowery hat and pants. Not to mention the pink boots.

Hugs
Marie

You know the dove is a sign of pieces.

17 Jennifer@Smelling Coffee September 23, 2008 at 9:44 am

This was great! Way to raise a Southern girl – ballet and dove hunting will make for one well rounded woman. Maybe she’ll run for VP one day. :-)

18 Texas in Africa September 23, 2008 at 10:28 am

I like her. I think she would be great with her own reality tv show. I had to watch the video twice it was so good! And please tell her to watch out for that huge cactus at that ranch. She is too precious!

33 Linda September 23, 2008 at 9:06 pm

36 Barb @ A Chelsea Morning September 25, 2008 at 6:34 pm

I may very well be repeating something someone else has said here but I don’t have time to read all these comments because, you know, SURVIVOR is starting in a few minutes.

But I have to say, it cracks me up the way that poor dove looks like a Halloween dove because of the way she’s holding it up in front of her shirt.

Of course, maybe adventurous Caroline actually discovered orange-eyed doves!
