I know.
It’s not actually Thanksgiving yet. And at our Thanksgiving meal it really isn’t even going to be the Day of the Turkey as Caroline used to call it when she was little, but rather the Day of the Turducken. Mimi and Bops bought a turducken for the first time about four years ago and we have never looked back. Why would you when you can instead eat a chicken stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a turkey? That’s three birds for the price of one.
Anyway, I just wanted to take a quick minute to say that I am so thankful for all of you who come here to read my words each day and buy my books and are just overwhelmingly the kindest, sweetest, funniest readers in the whole world.
I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with food, family, friends and many blessings.
And just remember that if things get tense around the dining room table, there is always Adele.
