Oh wow, water therapy. Do they offer like full doggy insurance plans, also? .. Because we vet at Banfield in Petsmart and they have insurance plans. I thought that was a major wow plan … but water therapy that’s a new level of doggy overchargin’ awesomeness!

And the price, I think they charge us a dollar every time they even pet our pooches. … And 2 dollars for each squirt of cheese whiz they require … that may just be my vet!

In the last week, my 3 year old got a bead stuck WAY up her nose and my 6 year old got hit in the head with a golf club. They didn’t get to go to the doctor. Now, had it been the dog….

I just have to ask, what in the world are water treadmill therapy sessions? Evidently we do not have such fanciness in Ohio. What, exactly does that do for (to?) your pet? Just curious!

Hey Big Mama!Well,I have to tell you I think you were overcharged big time at the vet.I have worked at an animal hospital for the past 11 years and at our clinic,you could have been out the door for about 37 bucks!Seriously!I’m sure that just makes your day.Next time one of your four legged friends gets a booboo you need to call me and I will be on the first plane to Texas.I would love to meet you,Caroline and capital P!

My dog got hit by a car, well, turns out he head-butted the car, but it knocked him out, and there was blood on his muzzle. We freaked out, (5:30 pm on a Friday night)rushed him to the vet who checked him out totally and couldn’t find anything wrong. Gave us some doggie-tylenol and a bill for $105.00. At that price,I hope it was tylenol with codeine.

Hi, I love your blog! I so understand the feeling when you wake up and see the rain on a day when you’ve got stuff to do! I actually blogged about it on Tuesday (we both live in TX, but I’m in Houston)! And I so hear you about the vet bills, too. We are spending a fortune to keep our 12 yr. old mutt going; we are just hoping none of our children want to go to college! On the positive though, we have discovered the doggy fountain of youth! Our senior dog is like a puppy again — a combination of 4 different meds. including fish oil pills (oh yes, they are not just for people!)!

I have a UTI. I call my doc, they tell me “next week”. I go to the ER. My cat has a UTI they tell me to bring him in “RIGHT NOW” and drive 70mph to get him the 15 miles to the vet.

I’m aware of who or whom is running this palace.

Over the last three months, we have spent more than 800 dollars at our vet for these type of things, as well as shots,etc. Acupuncture and water therapy are unbelievable, though!!!
