I realize this is the place where I normally have Fashion Friday because, well, it’s Friday. But I have fallen into Christmas vacation and I can’t get up. I’m not even sorry for it.
This last year has been one of the busiest I can remember in terms of writing deadlines and projects and when you combine that with family and just life in general, I’m a little tired. It’s really no wonder that I might be in the midst of a sugar cookie stupor and enjoying every bit of it. I turned in edits on the last two projects of the year (a devotional for women and a devotional for tween girls) that will be out in 2018 and I have now turned off my brain with the exception of the thought required to hit “Watch Next Episode” on Netflix.
But I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I know Christmas can come with a lot of weight and expectations when you’re a grown up, but I hope you’re all able to relax and just soak up the wonder that is God sending his son to earth in the most marvelous, mysterious way to save us.
It feels like every year I find a Christmas song that just hits me right in the heart and this year it’s Wrap This One Up by Christy Nockels from The Thrill of Hope album. And so I thought I’d share it with you.
Wishing you much love and Merry Christmas!
