This is how we started the last day of Kindergarten.

And this is how we ended it.

Not pictured: the popcorn shrimp and ice cream sandwiches that the girls inhaled.
Also not pictured: the mom who was on the brink of exhaustion after four and a half hours at the pool and about to pass out on the couch before she finally crawled into bed to prepare to do it all over again for the next 70 or so days.
Hooray for summer.

You are so very right – hooray for summer! And hooray for popcorn shrimp and ice cream sandwiches – that sounds wonderful!
Reading shrimp and ice cream together made me a little queasy this morning, if I am being honest…..
……but hearing about summer vacation (and the beauty of being able to sleep in) made that nausea go away quick!
WOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!! Enjoy!
Summer! Have Fun!
Enjoy your summer!
Today is my last day! Hooray for summer & then into the world of stay – at – home mommy-dom:) Big changes are here! Have a great weekend:)
That’s awesome! I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to go to the pool here in Illinois! We have been out all week and the first three days were unseasonably FREEZING! I mean, we seriously could have worn coats… IF we wanted to go out in the freezing rain. Still waiting to use the pool pass!
My sweetheart is a teacher and he and all three of our children are in school until June 19th, but THEN I will be the ONLY one who has to leave every day. This makes me want to SOOOOOOOBBBBB.
There, I feel better now.
I love how Caroline’s shoulder is posed the same way in both pics!
Enjoy your summer!
Does Caroline always know how to pose? Do you let her look at your InStyle mags? Because she does the shoulder thang flawlessly.
I’m not so sure about the popcorn shrimp though. Pork rinds might very weel have been a much healthier choice.
I love Caroline’s dress! You wouldn’t happen to know where I could find something similar in a newborn size?
Hooray for summer!
When I first read popcorn shrimp and ice cream sandwiches and thought, “Together? That’s a gross sandwich.” Duh!
It has not been warm enough here for pool play.
Oh, she is a growin’
Enjoy the summer moments – - -
YAY for summer!! HAVE FUN!
Cute pictures!!!
You are lucky to be able to trek over to the pool. We have one just down the street from us, but the fee to join and monthly dues combined with the 3 year waiting list keep us from being able to enjoy it.
As exhausted as you may be, I’m sure you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Caroline knows how to strike a pose and rock the bow and water goggles! Yea for summer and ice cream sandwiches! Not so much the shrimp!
Have a wonderful summer!! Enjoy those 70 days, they will fly by.
Yeah for summer!!!!! Today is my last day and I am jumping for joy. We’ve arrived at the day of Preschool graduation with 20 autistic preschoolers and their families…pray for me!
Hooray for you, pulling out a line from “Summertime.” One of my all-time favorite R&B songs! Gotta love it!
Your daughter is just too cute. Happy summertime!
Such a cute kid!
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
Have a great summer!!
Many Blessings & Lots of sunny days,
Amanda
Finally done!
I can’t decide if I’m glad for the pool or really resent its existence.
Looks like you guys are going to have a lot of fun.
By the time I’ve transitioned and settled into summer it seems like its time to go back to school again.
