I spend a lot of time worrying that Caroline is too introverted and tends to keep her personality all tucked inside.
I’d love to translate and share what any of that has to do with Vacation Bible School, but all I really understand is the “caw, caw” at the end because bird noises are a universal language.

that is so cute! It is too bad she is so shy and has nothing to say when asked.
That is hysterical, and after seeing the same assembly at our church yesterday, I actually know exactly what she is doing!
too cute. she is so animated!
She and my three year old would have a blast together, I think. They are cut from the same cloth.
Hmm, yeah. Must be doing Crocodile Dock! It’s two weeks behind us and I am still dreaming about crocodiles and loud noises!
I am thinking she is just fine:)
OK, going out on a limb here……I think I deciphered something about Peter disinfecting the church wiht alligator spray and then a condensed version of Noah calling all the animals to the ark?
sounds good to me!
No worries anymore I hope:)
Precious video, Hollywood will be calling SOON!
Blessings today and always,
Kaye
Matthew 21:22
Lol! I think you need to socialize her more, that shyness can’t be good.
ha ha ha
My 6 year old son (who might be the polar opposite of Caroline) was sitting here with me while I watched it. He said “Mom, don’t show that again, okay?” Seriously cracked me up!
Maybe Caroline and the other VBS-ers have overturned the kingdom of VBS and are making their own curriculum. That red Koolaid could do it to you. Or the macaroni covered jewelry box crafts sprayed gold. Oh, wait. That was MY VBS experience.
Thanks for sharing.
How much sugar do they pass out at VBS??? lol
hahahaha great treat for the morning
That very well might be my FAVORITE video of her yet. Because for whatever reason…I just laughed out loud.
That girl is a hoot! The bird noises were so funny I had to watch it twice.CAW CAW!!
All these years I have missed the part where Peter threatens to spray the whole church and then sees an alligator!
Yes, I understand your fears of her being so introverted! So funny.
That is hilarious! I think if you translated it would take away the overall effect!
Too cute! I wish we would have had her in our VBS class last week…she would have provided ample entertainment;-).
I don’t remember my VBS days being as exciting. I thought she was talking about some kid wanting to spray the church with ketchup.
That was fabulous. I needed a good belly laugh this morning!
I literally have tears coming from my eyes! She is hilarious.
)
Fabulous.
She has no problem expressing herself! Love it!!
It’s no wonder she liked Jackson so much.
She must get it from P…because it certainly can’t be coming from you
From what I caught, my guess was Crocodile Dock as well.
We just went through it last week–FEAR NOT! My daughter who is Caroline’s age loves VBS and requested that is goes all summer long. They look forward to it all year. Glad she is having fun!
Not the first time I’ve spit my drink all over my computer while reading/watching something on your blog.
My favorite part is that “spray” has two syllables
Love that. My kids already have a drawl too.
I’m snorting.
Oh My Goodness! Too funny
Caroline cracks me up as do you!
Ok, I’m so glad it’s not just me who has a VERY animated child. Although he IS quite shy until he’s comfortable around people. He NEVER stops moving or talking (or bouncing off the walls) and it makes mama SO tired and more irritated than I like to admit I would prefer this much more than a child who resembles a door knob or say some wet card board – or at least that’s what I tell myself on a daily basis.
Thanks for sharing! She’s awesome!
that’s a hoot! i love that age!!
Oh my word, she is hilarious!!!! I don’t know where she gets it though? What are you feeding that girl?!!! She cracks me up, she could entertain me for a long time!
Hey, stranger! I haven’t been around lately so I did some catching up here. The “letter from your Mamaw” comment slayed me. The “giving up Diet Coke,” on the other hand, broke my heart a little for you.
So basically, I laughed, cried…you moved me, Big Mama.
I have no idea what she said, but I think that girl was speaking in tongues!!
PARDON?
Ha ha ha…
Translation?
Rosetta Stone?
Help…..
That was so funny- hope none of your VBS workers read your blog or they will get a massive complex about how and what they teach at VBS!
Love it!
Kelly
What a character! So what is the VBS theme this year.
Adorable. She is just like my 12 year-old stepdaughter, who is really introverted and shy around big groups…but one on one? I can’t pay her to shut up!
My 4yo son thought she was brilliant and had to watch it 5 times before I cut him off! He is now running the house shouting “CAW CAW”, I guess it is the universal language.
That was so stinkin’ hilarious! She is awesome!
I totally got it. She was recalling the debate they’d that morning in VBS regarding predestination vs. free will. And in the end, God sent the ravens.
Right?
She really needs to break out of her shell… :0)
Girl you need to work with her on this shyness thing. I can just see her fear of public speaking holding her back.
My word she’s a trip! She reminds me of my 23 yr old princess who still acts like that. Sorry to tell you it doesn’t change. She gets upset if I don’t call her every night — did I mention she’s married and lives just a few miles away.
Okay, so I commented once but had to say I showed it to my 6 yr old and she speaka da language.
She said, “Oh, she’s talking about Skeeter!” who is one of the characters in Crocodile Dock. They know exactly what they are talking about, right?!
My girl started laughin hard watchin her do that … we spent our morning with Skeeter too, so she so got it all!
She’s talking about Skeeter and his can of skunk spray, which Skeeter erroneously thinks will defend them from the crocodiles. The “caw caw” part is actually from and totally different skit, where Skeeter is trying to catch a bird so he can have a friend.
One the upside, she’s totally paying attention during the assembly! Missing the point, perhaps, but paying attention!
We have a theology major on our hands here.
Do you just hate it when you start recording and they clam up? Oh my.
Oh Melanie.
I took Kyle to the dr for his 5 year old appt this week, and he was acting exactly that way throughout the exam.
The doctor said, “Come on back on the table. You can keep making the dinosaur noise or whatever that is. You can’t throw anything to me I haven’t seen.” Then he told me he reminded me of his boys — 8 and 10. I think that they were a handful, which explains why when Kyle was 2, he was always saying, “Have you bolted all your furniture to the wall? It’s very important.” HA.
Then he asked if he had behavior problems in preschool (which he did last year, but this year he shocked his teachers and me by settling down), and said, “Let me know if it becomes a problem, especially if he can’t concentrate at home. I mean, we don’t really treat ADHD until 7, 8 or 9 at the earliest, but keep me in the loop.”
The way he was acting, I can see why he asked.
She is toooo stinkin cute!!!
Holy cow! I’m laughing so hard right now. HILARIOUS!
That is SO FUNNY! She’s a piece of work.

My son is signed up for VBS later this summer – I imagine he’ll absorb about the same amount of “churching” as Caroline! Caw! Caw!
I so needed a good laugh…….
I just love that! I get a kick out of all of your ‘Caroline stories’ because they ALL remind me of my Abbie! Too bad we don’t live in SA, because Abbie and Caroline would be fast friends.
i mean she really is, so shy. thanks for sharing that animated story.
That’s our Caroline! What a cutie she is. We will always have entertainment right in the family!
what is heaven’s good gracious name did that child say??????
OHMYLAWWRD I had to watch it twice! Lol.
I hear that by eating 7lbs of pixie stix ,enunciation improves dramatically, maybe try that tomorrow and video tape again!
:O)
That is definitely Crocodile Dock, huh?? I am currently directing our vbs and it’s crocodile dock too. We just finished day 3. Caroline was spraying skunk spray, and calling birds and fearing not…love it! Thanks for sharing! Hope she has the BEST time!
Poor little thing; such a wallflower. (I’m so eager for you to meet my girl–she will look strangely familiar to you, I’m sure!)
I love her Texan accent…so cute! Make me miss San Antonio!
She is too cute for words, even if I didnt understand her.
