i usually skip over your fashion friday posts because i’m 58 & have bone spurs in my feet & have to have the incredibly comfortable though not beautiful, anne klein loafers. i’m also petite, slightly rounded & very short waisted. sounds awful but with clothes from chico’s i usually look pretty respectable.

anyway, i started to do my skip over your post thing & my eyes picked up some of my favorite words: Nordstrom’s Kalamata Aioli Dip. there is no better way to do lunch than to go with a girlfriend to nordstrom’s & have their chicken club & a big order of fries with even extra dip.
& now – thanks to you – i have the recipe.
thank you sooooooooo much. can’t wait to try it out.

Love that Daytrip Plaid Coat. I wonder if you could do a Ski Edition of Fashion Friday sometime? I have to go on a ski trip in March and I must buy ski clothes. Snow fashion is foreign to me, since I live in MS. Not that you have much in Texas.:o)

first of all, I am jealous you went to la cantera…because I used to live 5 minutes from that mall…and I miss it!
I love that olive aoili as well…they have the recipe in one of the cookbooks..course its kind of a long recipe!
I do at least get a discount at nordstrom since my hubby works for them…so I guess I cant complain too much!

I SO wish that Nordstrom would open up a store in my town. I wish that even more this time of year when I receive e-mails in my inbox, announcing the half-yearly sale! Unfortunately, the nearest one is about 2.5 hours away and, with two little ones, that spontaneous trip just isn’t happening.

I’m glad you found so many cute items though.

Oh, and I totally love Zara.

I’ve been a lurker on your site for a long time, religiously reading everyday. I think you’re hilarious! My husband and I just took a trip to Texas (literally…we got back today) visiting Houston and San Antonio. While we were there I couldn’t help but think, “I wonder where Big Mama lives in Texas” and “If I weren’t such a lurker and actually talked to her we could meet” and then I get home and start catching up on my blog reading and I see you were going to go to the San Marcos Outlet and I think, “Oh-Em-Gee, I was totally just at that outlet mall y-e-s-t-e-r-d-a-y!!” And I got super excited that I went somewhere that someone on the internet that I don’t really know but basically stalk was possibly going to go.

And then I realized exactly how pathetic my life is.
