This is the first year in a lot of years I didn’t get some for Christmas from a student- can I say- one of the BEST Christmas gifts ever from students. Maybe he’s planning ahead and saving you some shopping. Ha ha.
You need a t-shirt that says “My husband shopped at Williams Sonoma and all I got was peppermint bark”. The least he could have done was pick you up some of their cute measuring cups or something. Enjoy!!

Having previously worked at a Williams-Sonoma for 5 years, you know the economy really is taking a hit if they have Peppermint-Bark on SALE for $10 a tin this long after Christmas …

Is P’s bulk-buying addiction flaring up again? My own personal shopaholic habits have flared some since I got some Christmas money…but no cases of peppermint bark are on my doorstep. Yet.
Ha ha! I just read that instead of doing the Global Bazaar section that Target usually does in January and February, they are doing ‘The Great Save’ which is going to be in their seasonal section. It’s going to be…..wait for it……BULK SUPPLIES!!! They are competing with Costco and Sam’s Club. But….most of the stores are even going to have Ralph Lauren polos and a few other name brand clothing items!
You can google it. There was an article on Yahoo this morning.

At least you get scrumptious Peppermint Bark. All my hubs buys in bulk is boxes of ShamWow’s that contain 18 in each box.
My family loves that stuff. We get it every year and are very careful not to open it until Christmas day, lest it disappear before then.

LOL!!! That’s the way my hubby buys Archway Wedding Cakes at Christmas time – - – only I do believe he buys even MORE boxes of them than that!
My husband brought home three tins before the holidays. Unfortunately, I had to run out to purchase, then hide, a fourth tin in order to surreptitiously sneak peppermint bark back into the opened tins. You know, so that no one knew how much peppermint bark I had *really* eaten.
I was just thinking today how much I love and miss the Williams-Sonoma store. It has been four children ago since I shopped there. They have such awesome stuff! Happy Eating!
