I too was a Diamond Darling way back in the 80′s though (Beje Mahoe, Scott Livington, Tony Metore days). It was one of the biggest highlights of college. We so need to have a reunion!!!

I am trying to think of something witty and clever to say, but all I can come up with is I LOVE Baseball.

ALL my boyfriends were baseball players (BOTH of them, seriously) and most of my husbands, too. The current Mr. Tammy Chapman played up until college, at which point he chose to devote his time to becoming The World’s Greatest Guitar Player, which didn’t leave much time for baseball. Sad, but true.

However, he DOES order me MLB Extra Innings every year, and he understands that if Chipper Jones ever shows up at our door (without the dip), I may be gone a while.
