  • Episode twelve: The Big Boo Cast; Now with even more random

    May 7, 2008

Oh do y’all have a treat in store for you within this podcast.

In fact, just the memory of it makes me warm and happy.

Let’s just say that I knew Travis was talented because he does stuff like sing with the London Symphony and record at Abbey Road, but I have never been more impressed than I was in the middle of this podcast.

We also have an extensive discussion in which we troubleshoot our audio. It is riveting.

And there is some discussion of American Idol.

    And Nascar.

    We are very well-rounded.

Ditto, I too listen while I work–sewing and ironing, mainly. Love it.
And can I just say thank you? A few, (1, 2,?) podcasts back you and the other BM started saying goodbye to all the listeners rather than just ‘tween yourselves…so, thanks. I always felt as though I was eavesdropping at hearing the signoff..now I feel less nosy!

My husband and I were just talking about Dale Jarrett’s shout-outs to the Hickory girls basketball team. The best, wasn’t it?

I got warm fuzzies when I heard you all mention Nascar.

      Hey!

I listened to the Big Boo cast… and FYI, every Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 or 4:00ish… TMZ.com posts a list of what everyone is singing on Idol…. and it is ALWAYS accurate!

      loved the cast!

I had so much fun listening to you 3’s podcast. I have been sitting here in my cube at work(with my headphones on) smiling like an idiot the whole time! I almost broke out singing with Fry Daddy during that last medley of songs- oh how familiar I am with those. Thanks!

I listened to your podcast at work and laughed so loud the sales reps down the hall came into my office to see if I was ok. I loved it. Love the topics of Nascar, Wii, and Travis singing Neil Diamond. Woo Hoo!

I laughed at some of it because I knew exactly what you guys were talking about, and man could I relate. The other part I laughed at because I didn’t have a clue what you were talking about. Either way, hilarious! Do it again, OK?!

Well, I’m not sure what this says about me, but I listened to every single word. I even backed up it places where I missed something. It is a lot of fun to listen to people laugh so I really had fun. I’m hoping to get to San Antonio for the Siesta Fiesta it sounds like tons of fun. Thanks for the laughs.

    16. Donna says:

I was just listening while working on my ds’s b-day invites and watching John & Kate + 8… do y’all watch that?

Anways, I laughed a lot… the Neil Diamond stuff was just too much.

I also had to laugh about y’alls comments about and asking Frydaddy about Beth Moore’s jacket. I just wanted had to confess to you that whenever I’m out shopping and I see a cute jacket, I ask myself, “What would Beth Moore wear?” Oh, and I was at a Wednesdays taping last year and in fact someone asked her that exact question during a q&a session between tapings. It was that darlin’ polka dot long jacket. Do you know the one of which I speak?

      May 7th, 2008 at 10:46 pm

    17. Caroline says:

Hey!!! I was wondering… from whence did the name Frydaddy originate? Also, you might think this is odd, but I am thirteen and I love Big and Boo!!!
One more question: What is each of ya’lls favorite book?
