Fashion Friday: Edition winter is coming

As I write this the weather forecast is telling me it’s going to be in the low twenties here by Sunday. And I guess I’m prepared. It’s not like there will be any wintry precipitation. It’s just cold. So I will use this as an opportunity to break out all the sweaters that I rarely get to wear. Maybe I’ll change clothes three times a day to get them all into rotation.

Here are some cute things I found this week:

1. pilcro high rise cuffed wide leg jeans

Wide leg cuffed jeans are a big trend right now and these are some of the best ones I’ve found. I love the Pilcro brand. They run true to size and are just made really well.

I think this jacket is just really cute. It’s a little sporty which I like and the color is great.

3. cropped crew neck sweater

I guess I’m no better than Target because we are barely into the new year and I’m already drawn to things that are Valentine’s adjacent…even though I don’t really care about Valentine’s Day. I just like the hearts. And the pink.

4. oversized poplin boyfriend shirt

Speaking of pink, this oversized button down is on sale for $27.99. I love this pink and white stripe but it comes in other colors.

5. sailor stripe puff sleeve top

I think this is just the cutest top for spring. It could be dressed up with nice pants or a skirt, but is equally cute with jeans and sneakers.

6. Adidas gazelle sneakers

These navy and pink Adidas are everything I need in a sneaker. Such a great color combination.

They are $100 and come in other colors.

7. baggy wide leg jean overalls

You know how I love an overall situation. You could wear these now with a sweater under them and then into the summer with a tank and sandals.

8. fleece jogger pants

Sometimes a girl just needs some good old fashioned sweatpants and these are really good. They are super soft and comfortable. Perfect for an arctic front.
