Fashion Friday: Edition it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity

I just got home after spending part of the week in College Station. Caroline and I went to watch Aggie baseball on Tuesday night and then went to a graduation party for Gulley’s oldest, Jackson, on Wednesday night. And let me tell you the common theme: HUMIDITY.

I can handle the heat even though it’s not my favorite, but it’s the humidity that makes me lose my will to live. Lord, be a cool, dry breeze.

Here are some cute things I found this week:

1. cloth and stone long sleeve shirt dress

I love a denim shirt dress and this one is so good. The fabric is so light and breezy and this color is perfection.

2. splendid kaia cargo pant

These are the cutest lightweight cargo pants. Love the gathers at the ankle.

3. aerie slouchy oversized t-shirt

This t-shirt has been a favorite of mine since I got it last summer and I was thrilled to see that it’s back this year and in a bunch of color options. I wore it on Wednesday when I went to see Gulley and Honey and they both immediately went online and bought one. It’s just a great length and perfect with cargo pants, shorts, a skirt…whatever. I would say it runs large so you might want to size down one.

4. Keira collared button front blouse

Love this pretty top to wear with jeans or shorts this summer.

5. two piece shorts outfit

This is so cute for just an easy summer run around and run errands kind of outfit. It would also be cute over a swimsuit at the beach.

6. cami huarache wrap sandals

I bought these at the beginning of spring and have loved them. They are the perfect little summer sandal to wear with so many outfits.

7. cleo dress

This dress is so gorgeous and the color is everything.

8. retro tropics palm linen top

I got a Free People catalog in the mail and this top stood out to me immediately. It’s so bright and fun for summer.

It’s $128 and comes in a couple of other colors.

9. birkenstock arizona chunky platform sandals

These Birkenstocks continue to be my everyday summer MVPs. They are so comfortable and cute.

They are $135 and come in a couple of colors including pink.

10. thml medallion printed dress

I adore this dress. The color is just perfect.
