The Christmas Gift that will keep on giving

One of my favorite discoveries this past fall was finding all the cute dresses Tecovas has available. You know I’m always looking for a good Aggie game day maroon option, so when I saw this short sleeve button dress in the ditsy stripe, I knew I had to have it.

It was the perfect game day outfit. I was comfortable and cool, even in the late August heat. I have no doubt this dress will be a wardrobe staple for years to come because it’s made so well and super versatile.

Next up on my wishlist is this western-inspired dolly blouse in white. I love a good white shirt and this one will make even the simplest outfit have a little extra flair.

Now, let’s talk about Tecovas boots because they are a dream. In fact, everyone in our house is getting a new pair of Tecovas this Christmas.

We went to our local Tecovas store to pick out what we each wanted. Caroline chose The Annie boot in the cafe color. She just wanted a well-made simple boot that will take her everywhere from the ranch to the rodeo to an Aggie football game.

I also chose the Annie for myself, but I opted for the midnight color. I’ve never had a pair of black cowboy boots before and, let me tell you, I have already worn them four times in the last week. I’ve dressed them up for Christmas parties and thrown them on with jeans and a sweater. They are so dreamy and fit like a glove from the first time I put them on.

Now, finding the right pair for Perry was a little more complicated. He is super picky about his boots and they have to be the right mix of stylish and comfortable. He tried on several pairs at the store and then had his Cinderella moment. (He would die that I just made the reference in regard to him.)

He ended up choosing The Parker in bullhide in Briar. This is the perfect choice for him because it’s a weatherproofed performance boot that looks great but is also built to withstand ranch days. I have to say I love the way they look and he loves how comfortable they feel even after being on his feet all day.

There is truly a pair of boots for everyone and they will last forever.
