Fashion Friday: Edition it’s almost Christmas break
I can’t believe the fall semester is almost over, but here we are. Caroline has her first final today and will be home on Wednesday for almost a month. And so I’ve been busy getting the house and her room ready for Christmas and all of that.
And my goal this weekend is to wrap the growing pile of boxes that I keep shoving into a corner of my bedroom, but I also still need to decorate the Christmas tree that Perry and I finally went and bought yesterday.
All that to say, lots of things going on here related to all the festivities.
Oh, and I’m making my first batch of Chex Mix over the weekend because a girl needs nutrients.
Here are some cute things I found this week:
1. hey nuts buttery soft 7/8 leggings
These are such great leggings. They feel similar to the Lululemon align leggings, but are just $20.99.
They come in several color options and wash and wear like a dream. I love them.
2. oversized half-zip pullover
This is a version of a pullover made by Varley that’s three times the cost of this one. And I think this one is just as good.
It comes in a ton of colors and is $36.99. And Caroline liked it when she saw me wearing it which means it good make a good Christmas gift for a girl in your life.
3. aerie lumberjane flannel shirt
I love this oversized flannel. It’s super soft and the perfect oversized fit. And I love this green and black for the holidays, even though it comes in several other color options including a really pretty tan and white.

I cannot resist a waffle knit. And I love a jogger. And while a lot of people are looking for sequins and velvet to get them through the holiday season, these are much more fitting for my personal lifestyle.
They are $25 and come in a few color options.
5. aerie cozy up waffle quarter zip
Speaking of waffle knit, I love this quarter zip. Super cute with joggers or leggings or jeans.
It’s on sale for $48.96 and comes in several color options.
Free People currently has a promo running where you get a $100 gift card if you spend $150. So if you have your eye on any Free People things, this is the time to buy. I personally adore this sweater set and it would make a great gift.

If you are a person who has holiday parties to attend, these sequin flare pants are so great and they’re on sale for $131.60.
This is what I would wear with those sequin pants if I had a party to attend. Wear a simple black cami underneath this blazer and call it a day.
This blazer is $69.90 and comes in several color options. I like that the length is a little longer.
I was getting my hair cut and colored yesterday and my stylist mentioned that Abercrombie has the cutest pants right now. So I checked it out when I got home and she was correct.
These are really cute and come in several colors, but I love this blue. These are $90.
10. risen flare side slit jeans
This is a great jeans brand at a great price point. They are soft and stretchy and I love that side slit detail that shows off your booties or shoes.
These are $69.
11. close to you textured sweater
And this is a bonus item because my friend Michelle had it on the other day and it’s even better in person. If you need a festive sweater for Christmas, this one is gorgeous and looks great with jeans and some pretty jewelry.
