Fashion Friday: Edition maybe it’s spring, maybe it’s not
I’m currently sitting outside working on this because it’s 80 degrees and sunny. The birds are chirping and the leaves on the trees are starting to bud and flowers are blooming. But here’s what I know: It is going to get really cold at least one or two more times. This current spring is just a ruse. A warm up for the real spring to come.
Which is also a warm up for the summer that will try to kill us.
Anyway, here are some cute things I found this week:
I love this crinkle gauze material. It’s the perfect weight and so easy to wear. This top will be great with jeans or shorts or even skirts pretty much year round.

2. bright days ahead floral midi dress
I keep seeing this dress pop up in my Instagram feed because nobody knows me like my Instagram feed. But I could give you a whole cautionary novel about ordering things from Instagram sites, so I have been hesitant.
However, this is a real life credible site where I have bought many things over the years so now I can make this dress mine and know that it won’t show up in a size meant for a small child.
This is $64.
3. slouchy bubble sleeve sweater
I love a light gray sweater or top paired with white jeans for spring.
This sweater is on sale for $28 and it comes in a ton of color options if you don’t like the gray.
I love a shirt dress and I especially love it in this pretty blue color. This is the perfect spring and summer outfit paired with sandals or sneakers.
Its’ $44.99 and it also comes in black or white.
Target has a version of this dress almost every year and there’s a reason why it sells out fast. It’s just a great basic dress that can be dressed up or down. And it’s made of that gauze material that I love.
This is $35 and comes in a few other colors.
6. kut from the kloth Catherine boyfriend jeans
I officially own these jeans and they are the best white jeans I’ve found if you’re just looking for a good, basic white jean. You can uncuff them and wear them straight if you want. I love the mid-rise waist and that they have a little bit of stretch.
They run true to size and are $98. If in between sizes, I’d size down.
The other day it was just a little bit chilly and I was going to throw on this trench coat that I have had for years. But then I remembered I got rid of it last summer in the throes of a major closet clean out and now I regret that. A trench is just a great closet basic to have on hand.

9. chuck Taylor all star platform sneakers
If you want a great, casual lifestyle sneaker to wear with dresses, skirts and shorts this summer, I love these platform Converse. They go with everything and the platform gives you just a little bit of extra height.
They are $70.
Love this top for spring and summer and it’s hard to beat a good Amazon top to just throw on and wear.
This comes in a bunch of color options and is $29.99.
