I have spent this week between Christmas and New Year’s with hardly a passing awareness of what day it is or what a vegetable looks like. And I have to say I don’t hate it. But it’s probably good that 2023 starts on Sunday and I’ll need to rejoin the real world.

Here are some cute things I found this week and, yes, some of them are kind of Valentine’s Day adjacent so I’m essentially like Target. Christmas is over and it’s time for the next holiday.

I bought this shirt in a different color pattern earlier this fall and it has been a favorite. I wear it with jeans and I wear it with leggings. I’ve even worn in with pajama pants.

These booties are super similar to the ones I bought earlier this fall and have loved. I feel like they have become a wardrobe staple for me. I wear them with my flare jeans, my straight leg jeans and cuffed boyfriend jeans. I’ve even worn them with skirts and dresses.

I can’t believe the fall semester is almost over, but here we are. Caroline has her first final today and will be home on Wednesday for almost a month. And so I’ve been busy getting the house and her room ready for Christmas and all of that.

And my goal this weekend is to wrap the growing pile of boxes that I keep shoving into a corner of my bedroom, but I also still need to decorate the Christmas tree that Perry and I finally went and bought yesterday.

All that to say, lots of things going on here related to all the festivities.

Oh, and I’m making my first batch of Chex Mix over the weekend because a girl needs nutrients.

These are such great leggings. They feel similar to the Lululemon align leggings, but are just $20.99.

This is a version of a pullover made by Varley that’s three times the cost of this one. And I think this one is just as good.

3. aerie lumberjane flannel shirt

This is a great jeans brand at a great price point. They are soft and stretchy and I love that side slit detail that shows off your booties or shoes.

And this is a bonus item because my friend Michelle had it on the other day and it’s even better in person. If you need a festive sweater for Christmas, this one is gorgeous and looks great with jeans and some pretty jewelry.

I’m always looking for a good athleisure option to wear over leggings after I work out. And I love a waffle knit so this is perfection.

10. vuori daily leggings

I bought two pairs of these Vuori daily leggings last year and they are so good. They are super soft and comfortable and I just love the way they fit. I’m normally a 4-6 and wear the small.
